Dear Parents and Computhinkers,
COVID-19 SMM Update (26-April-2022)
It’s been a long 2 years, but I’m sure you are as happy as we are about the relaxation of Safe Management Measures. In line with the national guidelines:
- Visitors and students will no longer need to scan/check-in for SafeEntry.
- We will no longer send a Health Declaration Form (HDF) for onsite students.
Do note that the following Safe Management Measures are still in place:
- All staff and students will wear a mask when class is in session or when close contact is required.
- Students will wipe down their laptops and sanitise their hands before and after the class.
Let us all practise social responsibility. If your child is unwell, please join our class online, instead of coming down onsite.
Semester 1 Student Reports & Star Coder Awards
As we come to the end of Semester 1, students are working on their final projects and quizzes. If you are unsure about the schedules for your child’s class, please click here >> Download 2022 Semester 1 Academic Calendar
Code Mentors are currently preparing the Semester 1 Reports for your child. These reports will be updated into the Student Portal (Student Records) for your viewing.
At the same time, we are collecting the nominations for the Star Coder Awards! The Star Coder Awards recepients are students who have been nominated by their Code Mentor for exemplary progress in coding. We will inform parents individually via WhatsApp if your child has been nominated 🙂
June Holiday Break and Semester 2
Please note that Semester 2 will start on 4th-July. We will be sending another email to confirm your child’s schedule. You can refer to the download link above to plan your slots. At the same time, to help you beat rising costs, we are introducing a new billing structure, and will share more details with you in another update.
Do note that regular weekly classes will pause during the June Holidays. Fret not that your child will lose practice on coding. We are preparing a few hackathon events that your child can take part in during the June Holidays, do look out for our announcements on Facebook and WhatsApp.
As always, let us know how we can help support you and your child with their learning needs. We’ll do our best to help guide your child in their coding journey.
Take care and stay safe!
